Eli Hurvitz
Mr. Hurvitz is Chairman of the Board of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd., one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies in the world. From 1976 to 2002, Mr. Hurvitz was the President & Chief Executive Officer of the company. Under his leadership and vision, Teva grew both organically and through acquisitions, reaching over $2.5 billion annual sales in 2002. Mr. Hurvitz serves as the Chairman of NeuroSurvival Technologies Ltd. and is a member of the Board of Directors of Koor Industries and Vishay Technologies. He has served as Chairman of the Export Institute, as President of the Israel Industry Association, and as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Bank of Israel. Mr. Hurvitz is currently a member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University and a member of the International Counsel of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He received a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
